She is one high energy kid! I don't think she could ever be fully worn out. (which is great) She does the flirtpole about 20-30 mins every night and we work on training and plays a lot with the other kids. She sometimes wants more then they do, although Samara is a close 2nd and can keep up with her. Her brother is just about the same though, all wound up, he's great around livestock and should be starting his agility training soon I hope. They are both turning out great.
Figured I'd throw a couple others in there, so they don't feel left out.
She destroys just about any toy, like she's on a mission to dismantle it. At least she's a good gardener (for those who saw that thread, same girl)
The young lad, he has grown a lot since my last pics - here he is all 43lbs of him!!

For the tire eating dog, have you ever seen one of these http://www.petsmart.com/product/inde...tm_source=cse? My last dog had the same one for almost 10 years. This is the same ball they give to lions at the zoo. Best $10 I ever spent.
No I haven't. I've thought about it. Glad to hear it last. I might try it out. I saw some other toys that were used for tigers and I'm thinking about giving it a whirl. Thanks for the link.
mine is about a 10" diameter, no handle.
it has teeth marks in it, but he can't grab it. I also have a 6" on that i keep at our RV Park ... he can almost grab that one... but it's still a bit too big.

I'm so grateful that none of my dogs have ever been so destructive with their toys. I would never want to own a dog that needed tiger strength toys in order to have toys he couldn't destroy. And I want no puppies leaping over dog barriers like that.
I prefer smaller dogs with smaller mouths. And I'm happy that my lab is so mellow. I love my calm non chaotic household.

That is great I'm glad you like your dogs. I love mine too.
I want my dogs to do that, you don't so what? Why did you even comment at all since it only seems to be in negative of what you don't want, don't like. I don't want small dogs but I don't go on peoples post and say I don't like/want small dogs. People want dogs that do different things and have them for different reasons. I start my dogs agility training young and also do other obstacle training unrelated to agility. I'm hoping to have her going over 3ft shortly (this was only 28"). I'm glad I am working with her early on and that she is learning to be obedient and have fun with her energy. If you don't want a dog which does that its fine by me. People should get dogs which fit their lifestyle. There is no reason to come and comment about it here.
My husband has destructive dogs and I have learned to live with it. I don't personally like it but I don't let his dogs play with my dogs toys. (that firehose toy would already be shredded if I did) He buys them tires, numerous "tough" toys like Kongs and Rhinos, even though they tear them up he still loves them. His dogs do have hard mouths but I don't think its bothersome for him. As far as small dogs I think it was actually on this board the person said they have 2 doxies (small) which chewed up the tough toys as I had asked about tough toys, pretty sure it is under the xmas thread I started. That is why I don't really believe these things are chew proof, large or small dogs can chew them up.
I'm glad you have a non chaotic household. I don't consider mine chaotic just because it is filled with life. Especially don't consider chaotic because a dog chews up a toy. I wouldn't think most people would refer to dogs playing, learning and having fun with their family as chaotic. Only if they were running out of control or fighting. I do certainly wish there wasn't 2ft of snow outside so that I could be doing the training and playing outside instead of in my home. It would make things much easier and we'd both be much happier.
