Doesn't flea and tick preventive medicine take that worry away??
We give ours the meds every month, and they don't have fleas. Are we supposed to be checking for ticks, though?

Yikes! Nasty little boogers. Poor pup, there is no place safe from these parasites. I'm glad the owner found it relatively quickly.
