His feet don't look all that big and he appears to have a lot of beagle in him. Maybe he will grow up to be 70 pounds, but if he does, I'll be surprised.
If there isn't really a good reason why you can't have a larger dog, think about it really carefully. A nicely trained large dog makes an excellent companion.

You know, I thought the same thing about the "look" and the size of the feet. As a big dog person, I would never guess this dog would be that large. If I really liked him, I would take him out where some others could see him and get a few other opinions. A mixed breed is very hard to call when it comes to size.
Dogs that are going to be 70 lbs generally are mostly feet as a puppy. Impressive looking pup!
