GEORGETOWN, Texas, Jan. 6 (UPI) -- A Texas man with vision in only one eye said he was inspired to adopt a puppy missing an eye when his kids pointed out the similarities between them.

A picture featuring Jordan Trent, 32, of Georgetown holding the one-eyed Australian Shepherd, which his family named Shiner Solo, went viral after his sister, Kendra, posted it on Reddit.
