I have a 5 yr old jrt Max. His sense of smell is amazing. My husband has a hunting cabin 37 miles away from our main home. For the 3rd year in a row, Max can sense when I female dog that lives 37 miles away is in heat. He's a whinnying, nervous mess. (Which is not his personality). Sure enough we over there yesterday and she is in heat. Has anyone else had this type of experience?
