I'm very sorry for the loss of your boy. What a sweet expression he had on his handsome face in the photo you posted. Hugs to you,TerraDown.

What a beautiful baby. So sorry for you loss. Dogs are our best friends and their loss is devastating. You at least gave him the best life possible. Some dogs aren't so lucky. I hope time will start to heal. I still think about my boys I lost 4 and 6 years ago. They were with me half my life. Dogs are better than people. I hope Leo is getting all the treats and walks he ever wanted. Leo would say thank you for giving me an amazing life.

My heart is breaking.

My only solice is thinking he is now free to run through fields of ferns, rolling over and
laughing like crazy as he lays them flat. That was one of his favorite past times while he was here with me.
My eyes are watering up reading this, so so sorry for your loss, he had a great life with you, thank you for being such a great parent to him, hopefully you can get another dog and give that dog a great life just like Leo had, Leo leaving you might have made way for you to be a hero for some other little guy out there who's looking for a great home.

What a beautiful picture of Leo. He looks like he was very happy and it's clear to see he had a wonderful life with you.

Be kind to yourself. You gave him the final kindness, selfless act of love, in letting him go. Rest in peace Leo.

It's very hard to lose friends. One consolation.
His soul was moved to another body, even possible in the human body.
And once you meet him again, absolutely not knowing that it's your Leo.

What a beautiful Pyr! My daughter has 3 of them and they're such loving dogs to their owners.

I dont believe in the Rainbow Bridge but I do believe that our heart-dogs come back to us. I lost a beloved dog in 1999 and he finally came back to me when I adopted a 9-year-old dog of the same breed in 2010. So keep an eye out for your guy to be back someday.
