Jenny loves the snow but Forrest gets cold toes, thankfully we have lots of sun along with our snow.
My husband had a good job offer in Santa Barbara this fall and we looked really hard at moving there, amazing weather and beauty but it's actually more expensive to live in than the Vail area so we passed.

Yes sadly Santa Barbara is a very expensive place to live. I am lucky in that I have been here 36+ yrs and was able to buy a place years ago, as I could not afford to even rent most places here now as it has gotten so insane! But it is indeed beautiful place with beautiful weather.

Ooooo, ya. But all that extra expense is housing. We lived, worked, and rented, in the central coast area for quite a few years. I was making VERY good money - and we simply could not afford to buy.
I'm sorry, I don't have any holiday photos of mine! If I can get something, I'll post them. We've had a late "Indian summer" this year, with daytime highs still above freezing. So all our earlier snow is gone. We'll get slammed in January tho, I'll bet on it!
