Is he against cats as well? If he accepts cats you can get a French bulldog and claim it's a rare breed of cat.

Ahahahaha! I'm allergic to cats, so he'd know I was trying to pull something. LOL!

Funny, I actually find larger dogs to be so much easier than the little 'divas'. My yorkie is the biggest PIA I've ever had to deal with. My larger dog is a saint. Anyway....I was the one who didn't want another dog once our collie died, but...paying a couple of visits to the local animal shelters convinced me. Maybe stop by one with your husband and see if he will warm up...the most important thing is to bring the little diva with you to be sure whatever dog you adopt will get along with her. Just be sure to keep the other animals out of harm's reach.


I really like having 2. They play, keep each other busy, and really do become companions.

Thank you for your input! I'm hoping to find a friend and companion for my diva, as well as the rest of the family. We all love on the diva so much that there's just not enough dog to go around, what with her being so wee.
