They are driving me crazy with their toys (shih tzu, yorkie, toy)

So I bought a couple of little stuffed toys mainly for my little guys. Now what does one of them do, he wants the one the other dog has.Bark Bark Bark.. Now that he has it he tries to bury or hide it, which is not very successful around my house. Of course what really drives me crazy is when he will lay the toy right in front of that dog and when he takes it, Bark, bark, bark.
He is the only dog that does this all the others just play with their own toys,
LOL! We have a laundry basket full of toys for our two Bichon/Shih Tzu mix dogs. We have learned to just buy one at a time now because they are going to pick one to fight over anyway so why not just save the red tape LOL.
We also have to avoid getting the toys with the squeakers in them, my dogs are masters at chewing a hole and popping those out within minutes.
Haha! Sounds like my life! We have a veritable buttload of dog toys, but they always want the same toy at the same time and have to fight over it. Lots of barking and growling involved. Lots of drinking too (that would be me).
You must be at my house, living with my boys! I can buy two exact same "Kongs" but it does not matter. They only want the one the other has and generally, they play tug or keep away. They bark or howl in protest, if one has it and the other wants it even though there is another in the toy box!
There is also a rule in my house that any plush/stuffed toy must be disemboweled. The fluff must be spread all over the floor, and the squeaker must be pulverized. A little sharp piece of the squeaker must be placed in my path where I will walk barefoot.
This also goes for supposedly chew-proof toys. My dogs love a good challenge and will rise to the occasion. They say "Chew proof, my fluffy a$$!"
Hahaha.. good to know I am not alone. My yorkie will take the toy and then try to hide it which is hilarious especially when he lays it on the dog bed and wonders why the other dog can see it.
My weim will chew on Kongs not just what is inside the whole thing.
Kids and critters.....lots of similarities.....except the critters think up their own tricks to drive the parents nuts.
"Why do the children put beans in their ears; when the very thing we told the children not to do was put beans in their ears?
Why do the children pour molasses on the cat; when the very thing we told the children not to do--- was pour molasses on the cat?" by Carl Sandburg
or to para-phrase the poet....
Why does fluffy chew the "squeeker" out of her new toy;
When the very reason we bought a new toy
was because it had a squeeker
and fluffy loves them so.
Why does Bo-Bo pull all the stuffing out of the plush duck;
When the very reason we bought the duckie was because--
Bo-Bo had already pulled all the stuffing out of the plush chicken?
Why does Lulu want Buffy's chew toy....
When the very reason we bought her one just like it
was so they wouldnt fight over the same chew toy?
After years of expensive toys I found my dogs like to play with plastic pop bottles.
Just remove the cap and little ring.
