The fawn color with the black mask and the curled tail says something else to me.

The face seems to have some distinctive GSD phenos, but the eyes want to be pretty far apart and a little low on the head... and those flop ears.

I think there's pug in there.

I had my adopted dog tested with the blood test one. The shelter said she was a chihuahua mix. The lab test came back with two: Primary: toy fox terrier, secondary: weimaraner. OK, she weighs in at about 9 pounds, but she does have pale eyes and a weimaraner shaped face. I just can't figure how they got together size wise. The toy fox I understand as they were put together mixing fox terrier, chihuahua and italian greyhound. But the weimaraner? Hmmmmm?

I'm so glad I came across this thread. I just got my results back for my dog, Mazzie. We did the cheek swab by Bio Pet & it cost about $50. She turned out to be 3 breeds- English Setter, Dachshund, & German Shepperd. We knew she probably had Doxie cause of her short legs but her personality is not Doxie(I actually have a blk/tan smooth Doxie too). Turns out her long black & white coat w/ white chest w/ black spots comes from the E.S., that and her strong hunting instinct. She is frightnengly(sp) smart too(polar opposite of my Doxie, lol) & we figure that came from the GSD. In all, I'm very glad I did the DNA profile.

I think it's sort of funny that the people who bothered to send in DNA in this thread don't believe the results.

Swore I wasn't gonna post, lol... But size in breeding doesn't always matter. I had a Husky that would lay down for a small male Corghi a life time ago. As to DNA, I dont believe in them either and see it as a curious expense.
