Last time I remember feeling true rage at my dog was a couple years ago, in the middle of winter and the middle of the night, while he was taking his own sweet time sniffing out the perfect place to pee and poop, and I was so cold I was in pain. I was so angry at him!! Just hurry up and sh*t already!!!!
Now, my kitten is a different story. One minute I love her to pieces and the next minute I hate her guts. Usually the "I hate her!" moments come when she's clawing my sofa (or draperies). Ugh! (My dog is sooo much easier to live with than my cat!) But then just as I'm seething with hatred for her (and her sofa-shredding claws), she turns and looks at me with her big yellow owl eyes and I fall in love with her again.
