Forgive me if this has already been posted....I had not seen it.
For those who feed Pedigree:

I had an allergy-prone Golden who could only eat Solid Gold. Anytime I tried to switch my two terriers over to it (and off Pedigree) they'd get the most awful diarrhea. Finally, I figured since they were doing just fine on the Pedigree I'd leave them on it.
I also had a Doberman cross in the past who thrived on the stuff (Pedigree) until she died at 14. Just like the terriers, she was in perfect health with a beautiful coat. I love Solid Gold, but these guys can't seem to adjust to it.
I feed my dog Pedigree and he does very well on it. He got sick from Paul Newman's and had terrible body odor from ONE. Simon is 12, has the energy of a puppy, and we get compliments on how beautiful his coat is. I see nothing but great results with Pedigree and he loves it.
Location: In the North Idaho woods, still surrounded by terriers

Pedigree has been a mainstay for my dogs and they have all lived long, health lives.
