These threads always seem fun. We adopted a shelter puppy a couple months ago. He is a sweet little guy and he is growing fast. What do you think of his mix? They told us at the pound what his mom was, but his dad is a mystery. We got him at about 10 weeks old and he was 10lbs, 2 months later he is 25lbs of goofy puppy. The first picture was taken the day we brought him home, the rest were taken a couple weeks ago.

He's a mix? He looks all Lab to me.

Maybe he's Lab mixed with cuteness? He's definitely gorgeous!

Enjoy each other!!!

I don't know but I'm curious - in the last picture he looks very much like mine!

The way his ears go up and flop over, his nose is more slender and the texture of his fur don't seem like a lab, he is a little "fuzzier" than our previous lab. When he gets really interested in something, his ears almost stick up, just the top part flops over, it is really cute. However, there is definitely a lot of lab or golden in him.

I'll leave it for others to guess then, because all I see is CUTE and CUTE mixed with more CUTE.

Thanks, I'm partial but I think he's a special boy, he is my little buddy. He has a real sweet personality, he is playful but definitely less hyper than our last pure lab at his age. However, he is a mouther, I can't leave my shoes on the floor for 5 seconds before he tries to run off with them. That is the retriever in him, that is for sure. I'm working with him on that.

Hard to tell but would guess he has yellow lab in him and maybe white German Shepherd. Very cute pupster.

What long legs like my dog...I call her my pony.

Good luck with him...looks a bit lab-like to me.

The only other time I've seen ears like you've described them, and "fuzzier" fur, it was on a Great Pyranees puppy. Also a gorgeous boy. But not like yours or my boy, right? Because our dogs are the best.

Congratulations for adopting a shelter dog, they are the best. I would not be surprised if he has a Little bit of a terrier in him with those long legs and slender nose. At any rate you got yourself a great dog and he got himself a good home.
