When I'm home the dogs go into "dead dog" phase. Where they sleep most of the time I'm around. I'm told when I'm gone Ted's awake the entire time keeping watch on the front door to see when I'm going to get home.

Velma and Ted have really started to bond with each other and I know he's going to miss her when that time comes. I tell him to look at it this way; she hasn't started her treatment yet and that's a guarenteed 1-2 months. Then we have to wait at least 3 months between the end of her treatment and the time she gets spayed. So he has another good 4-5 months with her. We're all just taking it's day by day. I need to call this week to set up her first HW treatment injection.

So this is what it's been like around the house.

Velma girl sleeping

A sleepy Teddie

Teddie.. A dog in need of a hair cut!

They had just gotten a bath, Velma was blown dry and by the looks of
Ted's tail he knows what's commin...

Fluffy and clean Velma

And another sleepy Velma picture

Now that Velma is here Ted doesn't like his picture to be taken. Maybe after a hair cut he wont mind? lol

That's all for now. Thanks for looking

Gee, it's hard to think of Velma ever leaving! However, I know you will find her the best home possible. Always love to see Teddy and Velma is a little cutie. Thanks for sharing.

She's got the cutest face. And she seems like such a good dog.

seems to me that they might be doing what they are suppose to do, keep watch. Making sure it is safe while you are away. Now you are home you sweet babies get thier reward of a long nap.

they are too cute !
