the dapple doxies are gorgeous..... but sadly, because people find them so attractive, unscrupulous breeders breed a dapple to another dapple hoping for more dapple babies..... and much like the merle to merle breeding in aussies, many of the double dapples have vision and/or sight issues.....

That said, I've met quite a few, it's very pretty!

Interesting in light of LTTP's post, the one that's in my therapy dog group came out of a puppymill bust...she'd been bred a lot.
It is an AKC-recognised color for a Doxie, though.
