Yes, I love having a dog. Even when they are being naughty they just look at you with those big brown, guilty eyes and melt your heart.....

Absolutely. I have always loved being around dogs as long as I can remember. Dogs have always made me happy which is why I have 3 dogs. They bring us such joy. I know I would not want to live without them

So true! I love having my dogs and cats around. Each species brings me a different type of comfort.

My dogs never have a bad day unless they are not feeling well. They also make sure I never have a bad day either! They are always at my side! They bring me nothing but happiness, even when they have an occasional accident in the house or make a stuffy mess all over!
I could never live without each or any one of them!

I am, by nature, an obnoxiously optimistic happy sot That being said..and I agree with vette-dude here, the unconditional love a dog can bring fills my heart like nothing else. I have three now and each has their own personality, but each can read me like an opened book, and I them. I cannot imagine life without a dog. They bring balance, no?

Most days I love my four dogs more than I do most people.....they love me unconditionally, always have a kiss and smile for me, don't talk back, always in a wonderful mood unless ill, don't ask to borrow money or my car....I could go on and on but real dog lovers know what I mean.

I know that loving and caring for animals make me a better person in all areas of my life.

barnaby makes me happier than any other person, thing, event, or accomplishment ever has...and, believe me, i've had a busy life.

i just took one look at him as a puppy and fell right in love, and it has never stopped.

the only caveat that i would add here is that i've never had human children (nor will i ever) so i don't know how that experience would stack up. i will say that in my secret heart i would be afraid that i would love him more than a human child just because i love him that much.

so, yes, it is safe to say, even with all his health problems and the fact that he now must be monitored 24 hours a day for the rest of his life because of them, having this dog makes me happy!
