Haha I know I just made a thread about Penelope being our new foster and we do still have her. She actually just got spayed today and I PROMISE I will get her pictures up tonight. I've got to use the other laptop, but I will get them up. Lol

However a stray came into my work today and while she is supposed to be tried out by a co-worker she doesn't seem to like the dog to much. Seems like she wanted to take her just to have a dog, but didn't touch her even when I was leaving with her.

Since she was going to leave her at the kennel for two days until she'd be able to take her home and see how she likes her I said i'd take her today and Friday.

When she came in she was terrified of everyone, tried to bite the receptionist and didn't want to be touched. She has a big caution on her paper work because of it.

I had to bathe a dog, but told one of the girls I work with that I wanted to give her a try once I was done because just by looking at her I knew she wasn't aggressive, but scared. After I finished my bath I went to her and she growled and backed into her cage, but I got a slip leash and picked her up. I held her and found that she loves pill pockets. She didn't want anything else but pill pockets so i'd break them up and use those as her treats.

I went to her cage several times while I was still at work and each time she started coming to me more and more. By the time I left she was doing the happy dance in her kennel when i'd walk by. But she doesn't seem to like anyone else. I want to foster her, but I have to see how her tester home goes, I don't have any say because she signed the papers.. but we'll see.

She's extimated to be between 1 and 2 years old, a brindle shih tzu (I think mix) and a sweet heart. However she's already gotten attached to me and I must be in her sight or she cries. Ted seems to like her too which is a good thing. The house is full, but she will get adopted fast.

I've got some pictures of her too. Not great, but i'll have better ones later depending on how long I have her. So when I upload the others tonight I'll get hers up too.

Here are some pictures of the then Carissa and now Paisley.

I took her into my care this morning once I got to work. Had all her paperwork, records and info changed into my name. Now I shouldn't have any problems with who she is under. I'm already looking into having her spayed, she's had all her anuals, she's hw negative and on her way to a better life. I know I'm gonna want to keep her though because she is already so incredibly attached to me and I love her to pieces. Lol I might be in trouble with this one....

These are from right after her bath. She had fleas when she got home.

The only shot of her I can get cause she stayed still. lol
