My husband just returned from the vet appointment.

The vet confirmed Horner's Disease, which I diagnosed myself via the internet the other day.

He strongly advised against wasting the money on testing to determine the cause.

He said that since the dog doesn't display any other symptoms and isn't in pain, to not worry about it.

If another symptom were to develop, that will indicate which direction to go with testing.

The vet is not the least bit concerned since my dog is very lively and happy.

So, I might have a dog dying of cancer or whatever, but he's not dying today and doesn't appear to be dying in the near future.

I guess that makes this a good news day!

Horner's syndrome (it's not 'Horner's disease') is usually very benign. We don't even search much for a cause in people when they get it...

The only thing I'd do would be to get some over-the-counter eye lubricant and use it a few times a day in the affected eye so it doesn't get dry.
