Today, she brought me hers and I took it and said, "one more". The problem was that I was facing the living room when I said it and she always goes out and searches in the direction I am facing.
So she looked around and found the new Nylabone chew toy and brought me that.
"Not that one, bring me Wyatt's dish", I said, and instead of dropping it, she raced back to the exact place she had found the bone, put it back where she got it, and then ran to the laundry room to get me Wyatt's dish.

For her paycheck this morning, Pensive and Wyatt both got a little corner of a Graham cracker. Wyatt will bring me his dish if I ask him to, but he has discovered he can let Pensive do the work and he still gets paid.
My last dog was extremely food-motivated. I loved watching her go through her entire repertoire of tricks when I stood there holding a special treat. She knew she was about to get something nice for the right move, but hedged her bets and ran through all of them before I even had a chance to ask for the one I wanted!
