might consider muzzle training ? until comfortable with the leash she cannot stay in that aggressive state to long should be able to do it safely that way.. I agree dont want a mistake there. ouch

instead of leaving her tied up by herself outside all day..... where she is vulnerable to other animals and can annoy the neighbors, you may want to consider crate training her until she gets better control of herself inside the house........
