My dh and I are so sick of the commercials for Snuggies on TV and wouldn't be caught dead in one. I cracked up when they even have one for a dog. As a joke, I bought one for our little Westie to tease my dh. Well, the joke backfired and my little Ninja loves his new Snuggie.

Here's proof:

Oh that's too funny! Hubby and I are sick of the commercials as well and would never own one. Right before Christmas I saw them in the store - the animal print ones - and hubby joked that they were the tackiest thing ever. I gave him a very hurt look and told him I bought one for him and his dog for Christmas - in animal print - because I thought they'd be adorable dressed alike in bed together. For just a brief moment, total panic and horror flashed across his face.................... before he realized I was just pulling his leg! LOL

LOL - we feel the same way about the snuggie commercials - CREEPY! So a few months ago, we saw the Snuggie for dogs at Bed Bath and Beyond...I teased my DD that I bought one for Macie - DD had that same horrified look....

a snuggie is just a backwards robe!

i find myself tempted to get one though, if only for the kitsch value. a dog snuggie might be a good compromise.

their site is weird though - they show golden retreivers and collies wearing the things, but the largest size says it fits dogs up to 28 lbs?!?

plus they are too expensive for a joke, too bad!

I had to get Beesley something warm for our trip to Utah, so I opted for a Snuggie. I, too, hate the creepy commercials for the product, but how can you not resist such a cute outfit for a dog?!

Beesley hates putting his on, but once it's on, he LOVES it!

Here he is rocking out in his:

My friend wanted to get one for her dog but they don't make them for larger dogs. The "Large" says it fits a dog 17-28 pounds

I hate those things (even though I did once order one for myself -- and canceled my order before it got shipped), but seeing those doggies in one... makes me like 'em again. But not for me. Or Artie. YET!
