Hey, I'm currently 18 and live in New Zealand, I'm coming over to work at a ski resort in South Lake Tahoe, CA for the winter on an H2B visa and have an oppurtunity to play for the Superior Stampede semi-pro football team.

There are plenty of lower-wage tourism/hospitality type jobs in Duluth...you probably wouldn't have too much trouble getting a job at a hotel or restaurant or something like that (I'm assuming your visa allows you to work in the U.S. since you said you'll be working at Lake Tahoe?) especially since summer is our busy tourism season and a lot of the college students go back home.
The Minnesota Workforce Center is a good place to start....their website is
