What never fails to amaze me is people’s inability to deal with the truth.
The truth is we live in a world of limitations.
Everything, yes everything, has limitations.
We have seen the denial of this truth many times in the past few decades only to suffer its wrath when it asserts itself as the supreme law.
We saw it in the dot.com era when the internet and related businesses were going to change all the rules and bring unlimited prosperity to the whole world.
That denial ended badly.
We saw it again in the housing bubble when we were all going to become wealthy selling houses to each other and raising property values forever. That denial also ended badly.
We are currently seeing it in the denial that there is a limit to how much money we can print and spend.
We want to believe we can find an easy way out of the corner we have painted ourselves into.
We want to believe there will be no consequence for our denial of our limitations to retain confidence in our ability to pay our debts, and the value of our printed notes.
The truth is there is a limitation, and if we challenge that limitation, that denial will too, end badly.

Because no one wants to give up what they have.
They'll spend twice as much time trying to figure out how to keep what they have rather than cut back. It's just human nature.

Yunno, Meruka got really mad at Jimmy Carter when he told US this.

Got so mad, the Boomers abandoned all their phoney liberal values and jumped in bed with a smooth talker who had a Real Big Credit Card.

Here is the real deal, Jim. Gotta understand the nature of the character you are dealing with. America, the w.h.o.r.e that she is, does not need limitations -- We needs a Sugar Daddy.

We love you long time.
