I didn't address the short or long term

1. We export more than we import
2. Too many foreign holdings
3. China - many do not realize that the US and China are in a "Mexican Standoff."
4. Politicians
5. Increasing taxes
6. We are loosing our competitive edge
7. Lack of innovation
8. We have sold out due to greed
- by doing so we have exported our knowledge to China and India
9. Consumer debt
