I live in houston Tx. I want to purchase a land from the constable tax sale auction, and trying to find out more information about the property. I made some research from the harris county appraisal district website, but as unusual harris county website does not give you enough information. I hope anyone knows which website I can do more search about any lien on property, and I will appreciate all effort in answering this question or suggestions. Thanks.

I think the Real Estate Forum here on City-Data would be a better place to post this question.

Need to check the county recorders office for liens, but to best protect yourself, have a title search done, or purchase title insurance if possible. (not sure if insurance is possible due to auction status, but if it is, you'd need to do that prior to bidding)
