Sorry, but working 3 jobs has nothing to do with healthcare reform. I haven't seen any real data that says that people will be paying double. Some will pay more, some will pay less and a lot less people will be leaching off of the system.
I have no doubt that the AHCA will have it's share of growing pains. Both good and bad aspects. I have no idea if I will end up viewing it as a good thing or a bad thing overall. But, I intend to keep an open mind to all available info, just as I do with all things. As opposed to spouting uniformed propaganda.
My insurance company has informed me that my current policy will no longer be available next year and the closest replacement that meets the government standards will be more expensive but have not set rates yet.
My sister that works part-time and does not get or want coverage from her employer has been informed her hours are being cut from 35 to 28 because of the law.
A friend and his former partner has spent the last year splitting their business from one entity of 114 employees to two companies each with less than fifty employees... many employees have been informed that they will be retained only as contract workers.
And now my neighbor who works for UPS has been informed that his wife will have to get a separate policy from the state exchange.
All this to insure some people but the painting contractor I spoke to this morning says most of his employees won't sign up for coverage... as far as they are concerned health care is free and they just go to the emergency room when sick or injured.
The unintended consequences of this law seem pretty severe.
I can't comment on your whole post but if if it fact checks like your comment on UPS, it is garbage and probably 95% made up to fit that you have a very good health care plan from your employer and have no clue on how it is without health insurance and not able to get it.
The ACTUAL FACTS on UPS are, IF the husband/wife of a UPS employee is eligible for health care from their employer, UPS will no longer allow their employees to enroll their partner as they will now have to use their employers plan even though it might not be as good.

I simply report (and state as such) the facts as presented to me... nothing is fabricated.
As far as your speculation that I have employer insurance you are way off base and apparently projecting your bias. I have purchased my health insurance on the open market for ten years and have been driven to using catastrophic coverage because of extremely high premium increases. Unfortunately the secretary of the HHS does not consider catastrophic coverage adequate/legal so my policy will no longer be offered.
My post simply reported what I see as consequences of this new law.
I'm going to have to get a second job so i can pay. Obama did this for all the lazy blacks who don't want to work. This may benefit the poor white people too but I know that he specifically did this for blacks . I'm far from rich and I work fifty hours a week to support my family and now I will have to work an additional 10 hours a week to support these ungrateful little bums who have all the oppurtunity but no motivation.
Um, aren't all of those lazy blacks on Medicaid already? Seems to me that the ACA will benefit those of us who don't qualify for Medicaid, but can't afford to pay for insurance on their own.
Just got my health benefits book today from my employer. I was wondering what would happen with my medical provider, as they've signed up to be one of the 5 or 6 huge companies who will insure everybody in California.
Bad news is my premium will be going up $220 a month. Good news is that, in accordance to ObamaCare, they will now pay for gender reassignment surgery, which I didn't even know was one of the requirements of the new healthcare.
Second bad news is that they are rolling out an Rx plan where they'll have a list of the cheapest drugs available, and that's what they'll pay for. If it's not on the list, you're out of luck. (This is my employer's decision to keep costs down.)
Oh, well. Since I've only needed to see a doctor twice in the last seven years, more money down the drain.
A lot of changes coming since they have to provide mandate only and some special interest coverage is funded by exchange pools and company. Increase coverage means increased cost. In 2018 if your employer covers to much additional at their cost then your subject to a excise tax on the coverage. Its a way of taxing what is called cadillac plans not seen as taxable income now. then of curse states have to fund increased Medicaid rolls in 2014 when federal funding to cover it stops; if your state agrees.
obamacare, or UAHCA, unaffortable healthcare act, will never happen.
Denial, disinformation and poor spelling, so sad!
