I know this is hard for you, but a 2.67% return is more than your CD at 2.1%. Another Eddieism that is flawed.
You never made mention of ETFs, but I can see how you got called out on yet another lie that got revealed where you would change the story. The CD story didn't work out well for you at all.

It's funny how you magically changed your number to $750K

Keep posting responses and bury yourself even further.
Once again, only bully tactics with no numbers to look at.

It’s amazing how much the balance has grown in the last few weeks. It started at 400-500k and now it’s jumped to 750-800k. Heck we could all retire early if our neat eggs jump 50%+ in a few weeks

Lol, it grows so fast even he can't keep track of it.
Now he is Mr Butt hurt sensitive who thinks he is being bullied because he posted up lie about his numbers and bad calculations.
I will follow up with a quote
"Better to remain silent and be thought a fool than to speak and to remove all doubt"

With that much time, I would want to travel around the world. And, no I am not staying in a hostel with college kids or some nonsense like that. I like to socialize with friends and family even if it isn't always free or cheap.

The thing is, there is difference between being cheap and having cheap quality and being economical and making smart money decisions. You can live your lifestyle any way you want. In my original post I said that it wasn't enough *for me*. But, you keep getting offended when other people don't agree that you have the perfect lifestyle for everyone.
A little money with little expenses adds up.

A 30 years old w/$600k @ 5% and $10k contributed annually will have over $1.1M by 40.

Perfect.

1.1M for a 40 year old in a low COL area is likely top 10%.

Do “top 10%” net worth people live well in the south? You bet they do. Might even be considered slightly “well off” by most in small town USA.

I say this for posterity’s sake:

Anyone reading this keep in mind that poster “Lowexpectations” has continually misrepresented my positions as his preferred argumentative technique

So is there nothing being spent down from your 600k portfolio?

I haven’t misrepresented that your figures continue to change and you refuse to include any level of detail necessary about your personal situation to make it at all believable while claiming you have figured out some special “side door”

You are a deflection machine and by no means a martyr
