Chart shows we are back to summer of 1990... 30 yrs...
Actually I expect personal miles driven to INCREASE when there is more freedom to travel and families get back to (safe) vacations. (Camping / roadtrips)
Would be interesting to see an overlay with passenger miles flown. (or refined Oil use)
Also an interesting chart would be "Retail Delivery miles!"

I literally laughed out loud at this while sitting here at my desk. I don't even have a position on whether I agree or disagree- but quite the funny comment!
Traffic here has picked up and the roads are busy but not anywhere near pre-COVID levels. I hope it stays this way because we can actually get around in a reasonable amount of time without staring at a sea of tail lights.
