Wow! Why is that? I have been feeling very uneasy with our economy since March and have noticed considerable price increases in many things we consume. Been watching how much exuberance there is in rising real estate prices in most areas. Seen this before several times. Then comes stock market decline.
I know people at dealerships that have out of state buyers coming in and paying a price where the dealership is making 5 figure profit, and they’re taking those cars to neighboring states and making an even greater profit for themselves.
Apparently the dealerships have guidelines from the auto manufacturers so they can only charge so much so they’re losing out on the arbitrage not that they’d care because the name of the game is just moving the inventory quick.
The inflation we are seeing is supply driven, not demand driven. And is driven by speculation that the economies of the world WILL go wild, when COVID is vanquished. BUT WILL THE COVID DEPRESSION be vanquished before the DEBT-OVERHEATED WORLD deflates finally and properly?
Watch as supplies increase of the stuff driving up prices , it isn’t a money supply issue as much as you want it to be
And these price increases aren't as 'transitory' as you wish they are. They are permanent, and will get immensely worse, they will become nothing less than crippling. It doesn't even matter what happens to Covid at this point.

You don’t know that !
