Even if one disagrees, this is certainly well thought out:

Dalio has been losing it for years.

Anyway, assuming the 1 in 10,000 chance it happens............the type of civil war he is talking about would be over in 10 days.

I think to some extent there is always a geographical element to civil wars, and one of the things that I find most disturbing is the great sort that's currently occurring in the United States. As much as I welcome conservatives from blue states moving into my red one, it takes away a moderating influence from their original locale. As blue states become bluer and red states redder, I think civil war becomes more of a possibility. Add to that other societal changes wrought by Covid and then the convulsions caused by the inflationary economy we're in and well...none of that helps.

How about a summary of an hour and a half video?

35% chance within what time frame? What are the factors driving such a high conclusion?

Fought between who? There seems to be a huge fascination with civil war in this country because you know this one time it happened.

And it’s hard to take this “interview” serious when it’s filmed of some guy with a bunch of various action figures behind him…

Ray Dalio has continued shilling non-stop for China despite the tech crackdown, the all-pervasive property meltdown that infringes on every part of the Chinese economy, its looming demographic crash, the complete abject failure of the Zero Covid policy that's shutting down manufacturing and ports, and the astonishing number of Western companies that are now eyeing the exits.

Basically, if Dalio says it, I start looking at the opposite as the more distinct possibility.

Because about 24 separate stocks in his portfolio are Chinese companies. Heck, his holdings in AliBaba have lost 72% since their peak in July before the sh*tstorm hit. So he'll say anything to prop them up. Or, more correctly, get his money back.

I don’t doubt he’s a shill. I was really asking because these rich doomers who rant on about the dollar or America dying often live here, hold their wealth in dollars, and sell their “this is the end” bs in dollars.

There are current articles about confrontational-politics. Well, the article that I read was about the State of Idaho.

Of course there was the Jan 6 of 2021 Capitol riot.

But to me the escalation began on Nov 9 of 2016 when there were protests in twenty cities around the country. These were protests of an election result in a democracy. There was no immediate issue but just the election result.
