For all you that got your way on the bailout. Are you happy now? Are you satisfied?

So you may have pushed off the credit crisis for now. But what about longterm? What about going further into debt and owing more money to foreign countries, Huh!? What about knowing that this 700 billion isn't going to do $H!T to help the U.S. economy and we probably would have needed at least 2 - 3 Trillion dollars to settle the issue? What about passing the buck to future Generations?

God help me. I never want to hear "American capitalism is the best!" Because American capitalism just got thrown out the window.

And Yeah, Yeah. I know the defenders of this bill will say that if we didn't do this business would go under, People wouldn't get car loans, and Kids would be able to pay for college.
Well........I tell you what. I would have been fine on a vote to get money to the college students. I be willing to pay for that. But sorry I don't care if someone had to wait on a new/used car or have trouble running there businesses because there was not credit. If fact I still expect plenty of businesses to go under sooner rather than later even with this bailout. Our economy is going to go into the tank on way or the other. And this piece of garbage legislation is just going to prolong the Pain. And I promise you that we will see a loss on this 700 billion dollar "investment" into the market.

God. what has happen to the U.S. that I grew up in?

No, I don't think anybody is happy about what has happened, or the state of our economy. But, something had to get done or things would of gotten out of hand. And, if things get out of hand anyhow... then it was meant to be.

What is your proposal? Instead of complaining... offer a solution. Then we can analyze it... and tear it apart.

Yeah, but chuck, no one knows if this will help anything. Time wasn't taken to look at that. That's the problem most people have. The congress/president/media went around stirring up fear over and above the problem, and the first indications are that the markets aren't sure this will do anything to help either. The DOW is down 135, and it's 10 minutes till closing.

My suggestion would have been for the president/congress to consult with some of the leaders of the business industry, you know, the ones who actually know how to make money and have proven to be winners over the long haul. Some of them have ideas that weren't as wild as burdening our children and grandchildren with debt that will stagger them. Instead, the pres. brought in the two jack***es running for pres who are both weak on economics. What a farce that was! And then our do-nothing democrat congress (oh wait, they did name some post offices . . . what was I thinking!) had to turn it over to the Senate to fatten the pot on what was supposed to be an emergency bill, so they could bribe some votes on the congressional side. Corrupt, that's what they are. And they are running our fine country . . . right into the ground.

The conversion from capitalism and a free market society to socialism is now complete.

I'm one of the "little guys" who is struggling in this economy. But I can see past my navel and realize that it didn't get this way overnight and it isn't gonna "unget" this way overnight. The bailout is just a bandaid. The wound is still there and festering.

Now we've got government legislating our free market system. Oh boy. God Bless America.

Oh stop it! I hate when people pull that "don't complain $h!t." I'm still in American (I think?) so I go the right to b@@ch about this.

Now. As for solving the problem............I already said that I was willing to support a bill that would only support loans for college.

As for everything else............Let is fail............let our F.I.R.E. Economy be destroyed. And let start over again. Let start looking at how/where/what we can manufacture here in the states. Whether it something Biorearch, alternative energy, new personal transportation vehicles with zero gas use, or Improved food cultivation. We need to start making tangible items again...Period! We don't need to fix this "on paper" society. We have to dump it and have something of substance.
And Yeah I know it going to hurt alot in the process. But it needs desperately to be done.
DON'T GIVE UP THE FUTURE FOR INSTANT GRATIFICATION NOW! Which in essence is what this bill does. We need a whole new economy with new products and new idea. This is the plan and this is what will work.

The saving of financial institutions will fail in the end and it will cost us a whole lot more than anybody thinks.

So give me a break that this was the best idea we had at the time. No chuck it just another quick fix so the sheep don't get nervous.

BTW.........you best check my past post..........I say a year ago till now and you will see that I have offered plently of ideas on this subject. So get out of my face.
