thanks for the post. I have seen this before. My question is...where the hell are the gas station employees ? They should be inspecting each pump every morning and keeping an eye out...that would solve 99% of the problems. Give me a break....the gas station manager should be held accountable. It's borderline negligence on their part in my opinion.

The device looks small, though, and I got the idea that it is not noticible, so even if the manager looked he may not see it. Plus, not all gas stations are open 24/7, so they are probably put in when the gas station is closed.

Well, most of us could do the transaction as a credit card instead of debit.

You're welcome...I agree that credit cards are safer--much easier to correct the problem if somebody scams you. I think the worst though is if someone gets ahold of your checks.
