I think if many persons picked up the book: The coming Generational Storm; What you need to know about America's economic future by Laurence J. Kotlikoff and Scott Burns 2005, many would have a bucket of ice cold water thrown in their faces in not a bad way. Not to be negative but all I see is a bunch of peaple in denial about many things coming up in the future.
Agreed, I recently read an article entitled "Is America Bankrupt?" It was a non partisan discussion of the real situation we face. The future is not bright unless we adapt real leadership. No matter what, we will certainly face a decline in our living standard. I believe that we may have already crossed the point of no return and it may be too late to prevent what we have been warned about for 25 years.
