I was just reading the details of the Gold Card from American Express and it seems a lot better for business use than the current Simply Cash card I'm using from them now.

Anybody using this card? Like it?

I have had the Platinum card since 94. Last week, I called them and told them to change me to gold as I didnt feel like I was getting my $450/year worth of services. After a half hour of them trying to talk me out of changing, they finally succumbed. A couple of days ago, they sent me a $1000 gift certificate to a jewelry store if I keep my platinum. I may keep it now for another year.

AmEx seems to be one of the companies that "gets it" on customer service

I had the gold card about 10 years ago and was offered platinum. The thing was, I didnt use many of the extra services they offered so I cancelled. I didnt think it was worth the 75-100$ to have a credit card. The platinum was 'only' $300 at the time but I use them for basic purchases. They were good about service though.

You could get the Plum card, it's supposed to be good for business.

I'd agree with that, they lead the way.
