So how does a financier make sure his elected property follows the program? Once they are elected they are free to do as they wish? The solution is simple, never fund a clean candidate. Fund his campaign and his unethical or illegal indulgences. Once he is in office, the photos of particular escapades come in handy.

You try to do the right thing and this is what happens. I wonder how many stories out there are just false and we're led to believe they are true.

Poor Eliot..they got him at just the right moment. I wonder what would have happened if he had been able to continue....

Situations like this sometimes make me think that there really are some hidden "Powers That Be" in the background pulling the strings. Go against what they want and you're "finished" one way or another.
