Iowa had the nation’s highest graduation rate in 2010-11, according to U.S. Department of Education data released today.

Iowa graduated 88 percent of students, barely besting Wisconsin, at 87 percent. A pair of western states — Nevada, 62 percent, and New Mexico, 63 percent — graduated the lowest percentage of students.
