Transfer records to a new school? (systems, require, transcripts, children)

What is your experience transferring children k-12 records to different schools? Any difficulties?

It will depend on the school system and what it, and the state Board of Education, require.

The transcripts will have to be sealed. You'll likely have to have shot records. Some school systems will require proof of residency.

There may be credit issues, especially if you're moving between states.

Call the receiving school system right now, today, to find out what you need.

It has been a long time but years ago when we moved 3 teens from PA to DE things went quite smoothly.
