I'll be frank, the left wing teachers hate USA and don't want to teach what is good about our country and enjoy focusing on only the negative aspects of our country's history without putting them in perspective of the historical morals and reasons of the time. No country's history is without fault or evils and no country is without it's goodness.
You'd fit right in with the Jefferson County (Colorado) school board.
these "experts" aren't above changing history by omitting things to change the narrative to their personal political beliefs. The School Board has the right and responsibility to review lesson plans.

My system's recent US History curriculum spends more time on the US internment of the Japanese than it does on the rest of WW II.

So presenting a more balanced view of what actually happened, including discussing events that have been downplayed or omitted in the past, is now "changing history"?

Depends on the point of view. What professors and teachers who already hate USA see as balanced is far leftist to one who loves and respects our nation's history; the good, the bad, and the ugly.

Totally agree. These teachers hate America almost as much as do Moochie and B. Hussein Uh-Bomb-Ah.
