USA, Russia, China took the first three places.
However, ALL US team members are children of recent immigrants, 4 Chinese 2 Indians.

Team Canada has 5 Chinese, 1 Middle Easterner.
Team Australia has 5 Chinese, 1 White (Jewish).

No Non-Jewish member in any of the three teams. Something wrong/abnormal here.

I looked at and skimmed that link. Where do you see that they are all Jewish? Or above are you saying one was Jewish?

Sorry, I'm confused by your post.

Our Chinese Americans outperformed China's Chinese again. Xi Jinping must be pissed. Our head coach is also ethnic Chinese. He led team USA to 3 championships in 4 years.

To me this reflects the value different families place on the importance of succeeding in education. Anecdotal evidence points toward families of recent immigrants placing very high importance on education, as well as Asian families and East Indian families.

No surprise to me in these results.

While there may be no winner in a trade war, US has won the math war over China, at least for now.

It's hard to miss the irony, that in order to win that "war", the US stacked their deck with Chinese.

So the Chinese won anyway. What is the Chinese media saying about that?

China is downplaying such things now. Even national prizes will not add points for college admissions. The media do not advocate it either. The idea is to reduce workload for children.

Of course, IMO medals still guarantee seats in top universities.
