Don't agree...are you basing intelligence solely on test scores?

It is not based on ethnicity but rather ECONOMIC STATUS.

The wealthy will almost always score better on standardized tests compared to the poor which are more likely Hispanics and Blacks...some very smart poor out there denied college opportunities solely due to unaffordability. If income levels were similar among all, then there would be much more parity on test scores/positive results.

I don't agree, in ALL countries with large and diverse ethnic populations Asians are always more intelligent than Whites, and Blacks are always less intelligent than Whites. Always.

This happens in every country around the World, USA, Brazil, UK, France, Canada, Australia, South Africa, etc., etc..

It's not a coincidence.

When i talk about Asians i'm referring to White Asians, not Indians.

It's fact, confirmed by every conceivable test, not opinion.

What is the ECONOMIC STATUS of each ethnicity in those representative samples?

Betcha High for Asians and Whites...much lower for Hispanics and Blacks which are reflected in lower test scores. Yes, ECONOMIC STATUS (among other factors like "first generation", school district, public vs private school, etc.) make a huge difference rather than ethnicity. If each ethnicity had similar economic status (wealthy instead of poor), then there would be much more parity in test scores.

Intelligent people are more likely to have higher incomes though. So it's chicken and egg.

Haven't you followed the saga of the highly selective specialty high schools in New York City? Too many Asian students (a percentage far exceeding their percentage of the entire NYC population) qualifying and not enough students of the other minorities.

One proposed solution was to admit more low-income students. Further study found that almost all of the Asian students were from low-income, newly arrived immigrant families, so they couldn't do that to solve the “Asian Problem.”

Occam's razor says that the reason why East Asians excel academically and end up with higher average incomes, is they, on average, are smarter than everybody else.

Yes, I have. And yes, Asians as a group have the highest gpa's/test scores...many "low income' new arrivals too since education is of utmost importance in Asia. Never heard of Occam's razor, however in China and some other Asian countries, college entrance is completely merit based...you have only ONE chance at it...will completely dictate your future. Prospective college students prep for it as early as kindergarten! Those with higher economic status there have an advantage too...Can afford the costly prep courses for many years unlike the poor, enhancing chances of a top score. Anyways. the "gaps" are decreasing in America and will continue as long as the numerous smart but poor prospective students are not completely shut out of college due to unaffordability. Positive change happening now!
