More realistically $200k- $400k / yr while you are placed in service = $100 -$200/hr. That's reasonable, especially spread between 4+ wealthy families. And a viable option with the cost and burden of a good private school. One of my kids did somewhat similar by ski instructing the children of wealthy parents so the parents could spend the day heli-skiing. They really got some great perks, including paid international travel to exotic ski areas while accompanying family various places. A good and effective teacher could easily do the same. Some might say.... "Beats the classroom"
. Others.... Not so keen. Wanderlust teachers I know were quite happy following DOD schools around the globe.
