SAN ANTONIO, Texas (AP) - Court authorities here will be able to track students with a history of skipping school under a new program requiring them to wear ankle bracelets with Global Positioning System monitoring.
But at least one group is worried the ankle bracelets will infringe on students' privacy.
If I'm not mistaken, I think those ankle bracelets can be set for a time period and area. They have two different types passive and active largely depending on the funding.
I ran a search and in looking at what was said, there was this and there is a runaway problem as well. That is taking two separate issues and trying to make it sound right and that blows. If that is her stance then privacy is skipping a large issue at stake here.
