Hi, everyone. Let's see if we can come hither for a moment or two. In the times I've spent traveling to El Paso, I'm always fascinated with the culture of the city. As some of you out there may know, I have a thing for food. And I like the Mexican food restaurants in El Paso, and for me, it's a different experience than the rest of Texas (not that the rest of Texas was bad, mind you). What is your favorite El Paso Mexican restaurant? What do you like when you go there?

Let's find out from you guys right now. I'll tell you my favorites in a while, but let's hear from you first. Let 'er rip!

I have two favorites for Mexican in El Paso. One is Barriga's on George Dieter (though there is another location near N Mesa) and the other is The Little Diner in Canutillo (great gorditas).

Music: That should be the name of a new restaurant, "This Yandells Taco Place." Actually, it is "Su Casa" @ 2030 E. Yandell Dr., 79903, on corner of E. Yandell and Willow St. From I-10, take Piedras / Raynor Exit and go west on Gateway to Willow. It's buried in the neighborhood. Here's a Google map link:

Leo's, but I'm not sure that place is still around.

I plan on finding out when I make the move back there next year!

I also give honorable mention to Avila's. They have, I think, one location still left in the city, and that's on N Mesa. They have a long history.
