I can think of the Military boost, but being on the border, and his stance on illegal immigration, do you think that would affect El Paso in any way? Positive, or negative? 'Just curious what people in El Paso think.

Remains to be seen. Wouldn't affect too much in my opinion. Just like any president, he can't go in and create a bunch of laws on his own.

I seriously doubt anything would change. I think the local government can change more than the White House.

Well there would be a big construction boom with the border wall construction.

But with a big impenetrable wall we wouldn't need so many border patrol agents.

Inpenetrable, that's funny.

Like ArmyGuy said, it would mean little. Local politics are far more important (and are why people should pay attention to local elections), and he would be the most contested and despised president ever elected. None of his policies would have a chance with a hostile GOP and Democrat majority.

I think--I hope--that this question will be academic in November because Hillary Clinton will be elected president.
