And the planned new hospital will be Beaumont Army Medical's relocation. Interesting.

What amazes me is the New Shopping Mall they are going to build out there. Granted it won't be a ''Cielo Vista'' but still nice to hear about.

The shopping mall/community center is what he was talking about linking the Light rail system from there to various places around town like the Air Port.

Seems Fort Bliss/BIGGS will build a light rail and then ask the city to connect to it. The only way El Paso City ever gets anything done is when the Military forces them too.. Desalination Plant as a prime example.

IMO, if Ft. Bliss helps push El Paso forward then that's fine by me. We should take advantage of everything we can get, if El Paso's city officials fail to take advantage of what Ft. Bliss is able to offer us, then they should be hanged.. ok.. or at least be put in jail.

A new hospital, shopping mall, and light rail for Ft. Bliss..all sounds great!

You'll have to wait until Muhnay sees this as he would be the best one of knowledge for ft.bliss. and all the new construction out there.

ON BIGGS - location near the new back gate out to Yarbrough.

2-When will it finish? Open?

2013.

AAFES. I think there is an office in the PX you can talk to them there.

4-Where is the entrance for BIGGS, and is open now?

There are currently 3 gates to Biggs, the new Yarbrough gate, a smaller side gate off McKinney ( I think thats the street name ) and the main gate off of Fred Wilson. There will be 7 gates in all when complete.

Thank you very much
Your Welcome.. Thanks 6/3 for the props.
