Well if we don't get some rain or water soon, I think I'll be thinking of leaving. It's starting to look like a dust bowl here -- not a drop of water in our river -- it's scorching bone dry. You won't hear the yipping of coyotes anymore here, a year ago if you saw one, they had ribs sticking out and were looking pathetic.

I'm starting to look at pictures of green places with lakes and streams and rivers and wondering more and more why I'm here.

I moved to WA state for the army from bliss, my wife is from canutillo, I medically retired from army. I hated WA state because it was so expensive and the food sucked, housing was high, living costs, people were rude, incliment weather, etc. So we moved back and are happy

I don't know what "CAVES" are, but the majority of all commenters on news stories everywhere are trolls

I left in 1977. Lived in Albuquerque for 2 years, Corpus Christi for 2 years, Denver for 23 years, Albuquerque (again) for 4 years, and now in Georgetown, Texas for 7 years. We left because of a job transfer, but, we were happy. At the time, El Paso seemed like the end of the line. EVERYTHING happened somewhere else.
