Ive got a really bad craving for them. For those of you who don't know they are fried grasshoppers. Often times dusted in chili powder, salt and maybe lime. I hear they are insanely good, but seasonal and hard to find. I don't feel like going to Juarez and getting my head chopped off, but if it happened with a handful of chapulines in my mouth Id seriously consider it. Someone must know of a small mom and pop grocery that carries them. Heres a wiki link incase you'd like to read up on them.

I've only seen them in Oaxaca. They taste like the seasoning on them, lime juce and salt. Crunchy!

Since El Paso is the Mexican food capital of the world, I'm sure you'll find those almost anywhere here.

Otherwise just wait until spring and you could catch your own and make them yourself. They sure do look delicious.
