You must be a guy if you prefer beer over wine.

What is it like? Roughly how much money will it cost for two adults (moderate drinkers) to spend a day there? It looks cool, but expensive.

I think it's $13 to get in that includes all that great entertainment, a full glass of wine or 6 tastes of different ones. Plus, a lovely day out on the grass and loads of neat vendors!

It's $13 for admission. I know the Harvest Wine Festival last year was $13 with unlimited wine tasting but I'm not sure if this one will follow that route or go with the route of the La Vina Wine Festival with only 6 tastings. (I hope it is like the Harvest one. )

That's really cool! I went to a wine tasting in Hawaii and we ended up spending $250 there, since you had to buy the wine by the glass/taste. Gotta love the $13 admission here.

Read in the paper they are not running shuttles from Mesilla Valley Mall anymore....this can only lead to more traffic and people leaving in their own cars without time to recover from "tasting"

I used to prefer beer over wine but not anymore. What does it mean if a guy prefers wine over beer?? Ahem...don't you even think about joking about you know what....

This spring me and my WIFE had a chance to visit Napa Valley in CA and I enjoyed it very much. Now I can't help but buying a bottle whenever where at the grocery store, restaurant, wherever.

And compared to other places the NM tastings are VERY REASONABLE. At Napa, each vineyard charges you $20 bucks/person for the tasting; some places wave the fee if you buy a bottle but many DON'T.

To the OP, it also of course depends on whether you buy some bottles to take home, the take home foods, salsas, and crafts. The stuff isn't exactly cheap but it's usually really good stuff you can't get in regular grocery stores.
