I'm more interested in who the republicans think they can run in 2012 who would be electable.

Obama has shown us that he intends to govern from center/right, so either the repubs have to match Obama or move one way or the other to differentiate themselves from him. If they move too far toward either edge they will completely lose the majority of voters. If they match his stance, they have to run a candidate who doesn't have a lot of personal issues. A Bible thumper, a backwoods governor, or a retread with a messy personal life is not likely to get too far against him.

I think you will see President Obama where he currently sits until January 2017.

Then it is a good thing that what you think counts for nothing.

Why don't you address the rest of my post, then?

Unless you can, my opinion carries at least as much weight as yours and i have given you the reasons that I believe as I do.

Simply attacking me doesn't change what is.

Again, as asked before, can someone really give examples of his governing center right? I will repeat what I have said before as well. anyone that considers him center right almost has to be a socialist or a communist..

I don't know if he will be sitting in the same place as he is now in Jan of 2017, it might be awfully cold in Marth's Vineyard that time of the year..

I hope we are not seeing a trend here and I hope you are wrong, but it could be interesting. Is there a reason you are saying this or just your gut feeling. We all have those you know.

Sean, I agree, the economy, the illegal situation, his comments about the Mosque and a few other issues should sink him.

Hey fellow Democrats i luv your posts.
Bush was so bad, he did such a horrible job using our military to defend our country that happened to be attacked by terrorists. He did a horrible job overthrowing Iraq, a country ruled by a ruthless dictator. And the worst part he did it in just 2 weeks. I was also told by CNN that he is to blame for the economic crisis, cause presidents always cause the stock market to crash. I mean the economy has nothing to do with it. Obama is the best! Taxing everyone that makes an honest living is He did a great job handling the situation of illegal imigration, i mean why care, they arnt harming anyone by not paying taxes, taking all the jobs, and smugling drugs into the US. And i am totally for him sewing Arizona for trying to protect themselves cause i love that he goes against the Constitution for everything else, now hes sewing over a state trying to be unconstitutional, cause i mean checking for legal residency in someone that got arrested is completely unconstitutional, but the Government controling are healthcare isnt. Also i must include national healthcare is the best idea ever! I mean who needs to choose what doctor they want, and who cares if my tax's double, its free right? In addition who needs a maximum security prison that contains the most dangerous people in the world. Nuclear defense system? Who needs that, total waste of money. He is just cutting these budgets and spending them on such amazing stuff that i dont know where to start when it comes to naming what he spent the 2 trillion dollars on. I no who i am voting for in 2012, i want this national healthcare, and the stimulus package. Now if you dont mind im going to go brain wash myself by watching CNN and Obama speaches. Then im going to gloat to Republicans on how well we are taking over the country. Now good day to you fellow Democrat.

The Repubs are running this year on repeal HC that more people want, cancel Wall St reform that the vast majority want and continue to do nothing on Immigration reform that the vast majority want. If, in 2012, they continue to be so out of touch, I don't don't see how any Repub could unseat Obama.

I think Sarah Palin can do it right this time, since she missed her chance last time. You dont understand that there are tons of people Democrats and Republicans that think Obama is a mistake. I have seen numurous articles were Dems were saying there disapointed in Obama. Plus honestly the hipe of our first Black president is over, and so is Obama after 2012.

Palin? Seriously? It would be fascinating to see Palin try to cobble together a coalition to defeat Obama. What would such a coalition look like?
