And right some of my very good black friends would laugh at anyone who thinks i would judge someone based on the color or ones skin.

Look i am thrilled to death, that your so happy with him. I am not nor do i want him to get a second term. You do, i will not change my mind.

If he does he does if he does not, the people have spoken. I believe in what happens happens for a reason, even if it is something i disagree with.
I will never agree with you on your opinion of Obama, but i do respect your opinion, even though i disagree with yours.
I am not truly upset with anyone who supports him, if i was happy with him, i too would be supporting him, but i am not.
Never did i care for him, And i have many realitives who do live in the Windy City, who also do not like him.

FYI, I did not say that YOU do not like President Obama because of his skin color but there was absolutely an "element" of the Tea Party movement that was vocally bigoted (email of the watermelons on the White House lawn, Obama in witchdoctor gear and the chimpanzee family portrait email were obvious in their intent).

And I could care less whether or not you personally agree with me on President Obama; I am simply expressing my opinion, not attempting to "sway" beliefs. Your dislike was established before he even took office, so that just proves that you would bash him no matter what the economy was doing. Your personal opinion of President does not and will not decide an entire election; you only get one vote. Just because C-D leans right does not mean that they represent the vote of America in its entirety.

I am satisfied with President Obama. The Republicans have bashed him relentlessly yet have not put forward a candidate of equal or superior caliber. The GOP has offered up a gaggle of weak opponents and President Obama will thankfully win a 2nd term.

Not to worry you could never sway me. However i didi not vote for him, but that in no terms mean i sincerely did not give him a chance. I did and i am not happy with what i see. You are that is great, and i would never try and sway you. And because you are one voting for him again, does not mean all democrats will this time around.

FYI more of my democratic friends are the ones putting him down right now, more then my Repub friends. That is no lie, they voted for him first round, second round they have said no way. They were strict Dem supporters, but will not be voting for Obama.

Everyone does have their own opinion, we just happen to disagree.

FYI i do not care about any party of any kind tea-party or Ows, or some new one that could sprout up tomorrow. I make up my own mind, as you can see no one will sway me, if i am unhappy with an individual. And i am very unhappy with what i see.

I am happy your satisfied with him, i am not.
Lets leave it at that!

When you have a bad economy as the one we are all experiencing, business does not profit, and people are not comfortable buying.
Obviously many businesses have better "business sense" if they're doing well for the past few years. With so many people unemployed, yes, business have fewer customers and customers buying less. So some businesses have gone under. How you connect the dots to blame that on Obama is beyond me. It's like you think the economy was great when he took office.

We all have our own personal experiences and those of our friends, family, neighbors, etc. I also know that President faced scorn and obstructionism on an unprecedented scale when he took office (name one other POTUS whose citizenship was questioned to the point of law suits and all of the other nonsense)? The Tea Party rhetoric in the first two and half years of his presidency was blatant in its motives. Never had any other POTUS been disrespected in the manner in which President Obama has been. I have never heard as many vile, vicious attacks on a First Lady, as well.

I actually already knew that certain Americans would never accept a Black POTUS and would do everything in their power to undermine and discredit. I also knew that some of his borderline supporters would turn on him, which has happened also.

But I applaud the passing of the healthcare bill, taking out Osama Bin Laden, passing of the stimulus bill which pulled America back from the edge of the abyss...I am happy with President Obama. No one with an ounce of common sense agrees with 100% of a president's policies but I agree with the majority of his. I believe that he needs to stop laying nice, put his foot up the -sses of the Republicans and school them hard. If he does this and the economy continues to approve then he will silence his detractors.

A visual aid in case you need to see that the recession began under President GWB.

I definitely agree.

The great puzzle to me is that Republicans (and their foot soldiers, the Tea Party) have been saying since Jan 20, 2009 (President Obama's 1st day in office) that he isn't a leader, he is going to destroy America, he's a socialist, he's a Muslim, he's a Kenyan, he's going to turn America into Europe, he's blah blah blah....

...and yet, they don't even bother to have their "best and brightest" run against him in 2012 to regain the White House. So what does that say about the real motivation and dedication of the Republicans? If they really thought that President Obama was "destroying" America, wouldn't they offer Americans the absolute best amongst them? So are Palin, Bachmann, Trump, Gingrich, Cain, Romney, Santorum, Paul, Perry et al the best that the Republicans have to offer in the face of the "destruction" of America by President Obama? It looks more like a half -ssed frat boy attempt than a real challenge.

The Republicans continue to look like a drunk, homeless man on the street who continues to make fun of the dedicated, hard working guy who gets up early, takes the bus to go to work at the burger joint.

Just how was he obstructed when for two whole years he and his party were in complete control of Congress? They spent 18 months on HC and couldn't even agree with themselves for Gods sake.4 years before Obama Pelosi pledged her leadership would be the most ethical, transparent and productive in history....jobs,jobs,jobs.... or have you already forgotten that?

All the while she was getting rich from her legislations as was her husband and close friends same goes for Maxine Waters and the other gaggle of crooks.Draining the swamp that they all swim in.... doubtful.

As for the Tea Party movement they were not a viable force in his first two years they came after his HC mandate behind closed doors of Harry Reids office without input from the other party written by unelected lobbists, special interests, political cronies.

Don't be surprised if he wins by a landslide. I'm 80-percent sure this next election will be a runaway victory for the Democrats.

Also, the conservatives can't find anyone who measures up. Mike Huckabee already stated he probably won't run. That man has too many skeletons in his closet, furthermore. The guy is an right-wing evangelical Christian for one thing. Plus, he pardoned a guy who killed several people in Arkansas, and he has a son who was ousted as a Boy Scout leader for torturing puppies. Those alone are wild cards that will disqualify him from the race. Sarah Palin will be lucky if she even makes it to the primary. I'm sure she'll run to massage her Alaska-sized ego, too. Not even John McCain stood a chance playing his veteran card, so I'm positive the same is true about the other Republicans.

Barack Obama's ratings are now higher than that of either Clinton or Reagan around this time frame during their first terms. What you're also forgetting is there are more black voters than ever before. They'll probably pour into the polls more so than they did in 2008. Myriad Hispanic voters are disenchanted with the Republican Party as well. Not to mention recent college graduates like yours truly are disgusted over the way Republicans haven't done a damn thing about unemployment and even wanted to slash benefits for the 99ers. They're the ones that gave tax cuts to big businesses.

I'm hoping when Scott Walker gets recalled which I'm sure he will, our friends in Wisconsin will spark the catalyst towards something big. His being ousted will leave a bad headline for the Republicans and cost many of them their seats. I'm half-expecting the Democrats will regain control of both houses again after this whole debacle Bush got us into. Unless something terrible happens, I see no way he WILL NOT get re-elected end of story.

pigs cant fly and the vikings cant win a super bowl. it will be just like pbo, he will be another carter, a 1 term president.
